Maria Regita is a Senior Counsel at TWL Law Group, with extensive experience in general corporate and M&A matters in Indonesia, as well as cross-border transactions across Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining TWL Law Group, Maria spent nearly four years at one of Indonesia’s leading law firms affiliated with a globally recognized international firm. Her practice focused on general corporate and M&A work, advising clients across a wide range of sectors including telecommunications, media and technology, general trading, manufacturing, and plantations.

 

She has advised numerous foreign investors on market entry strategies and foreign direct investment into Indonesia, and has supported M&A transactions through all stages, from structuring and due diligence to negotiation and closing. Maria also assisted clients in securing business licenses, regulatory approvals, and intellectual property rights registrations. In addition to her private practice, Maria brings valuable in-house experience from her time as legal manager at two major Indonesian technology companies, giving her a wide perspective on both legal and commercial considerations.

​As an Indonesian trained lawyer, Maria holds an LL.B. from the University of Indonesia and an LL.M. from New York University and is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
